As a Student Counselor, you will provide comprehensive support to students, helping them develop both technical and general skills essential for their professional growth. You will work closely with trainers, placement groups, and companies to ensure students receive holistic support throughout their educational journey.

Student Support: Provide personalized counseling and guidance on academic, technical, and personal development matters.
Skill Development: Assess student needs and design programs to enhance technical skills, communication, teamwork, and professional etiquette.
Collaboration: Partner with trainers to identify areas for improvement and develop tailored training plans for students.
Placement Support: Liaise with placement groups and companies to facilitate internships and job placements.
Career Counseling: Offer career guidance, including resume building, interview preparation, and networking skills.
Monitoring Progress: Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure successful outcomes.
Resource Development: Develop resources and workshops on time management, stress management, and study skills.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, student progress, and placement outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Proven experience as a counselor or advisor in an educational or training setting, preferably with technical students.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to empathize, listen actively, and communicate effectively.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with technical skills and concepts is advantageous.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Problem-solving: Practical problem-solving skills to address student challenges.
Career Counseling Experience: Experience with career counseling and placement services is beneficial.
